Every Saturday morning Evergreen Brick Works hosts over 60 local farmers, producers, entrepreneurs, and artisans who come together to share their foods and products with Toronto locals and visitors to the city alike. With everything from fresh produce, baked goods, and meats to vintage goods and crafts, it makes it a real challenge to leave here empty handed.

Since opening in 2007, Evergreen Brick Works Farmers’ Market has strived to support sustainably produced food and bring locals together to celebrate all that their communities have to offer. Something they have plainly excelled at. With vendors from all walks of life and backgrounds sharing their cultures and passions, this market is like a representative microcosm of Toronto’s diversity.

Where is it?

Evergreen Brick works is nestled in a scenic part of Toronto’s Don Valley, surrounded by some of the city’s best parks and recreation trails. This makes it the perfect locale to make a day of exploring more of the city’s natural beauty after checking out all the market has to offer.

 

So, when’s the best time to go?

Luckily, this is one of the city’s few prominent farmers’ markets to remain open throughout the year. As a result, it boasts an eclectic array of seasonal foods and specialty items, perfect for any time of year or occasion. For the next two weekends the market will still be held outdoors on the grounds of Evergreen Brick Works until it moves indoors for the winter on November 19. So make the most of the last bit of the Fall experience while you still can!

The farmers’ market starts every Saturday morning at 8am and ends at 1pm.
